Prof. Sajeeth has extensively worked on machine learning problems and on designing and developing tools that can make them both efficient and accurate for classification and regression problems. The tools are used in problems such as star-galaxy separation, galaxy morphology classification, quasar detection ( in collaboration with IUCAA, Pune), automated detection and classification of transients in astronomical surveys (on going research in collaboration with Caltech, USA), Automated non-invasive detection, isolation and classication of Event Related Potential (ERP) from raw EEG (on going research in collaboration with Rochester University, USA), EEG based identification and studies on the functional differences in the human brain under sedative conditions and intoxication from alcoholic drinks, etc. Currently he is a senior advisor withPKC looking after Big data & AI based projects across various focus areas.
